Apologies for the delay in getting this published. Ian Gatward discusses his first mathday experience of the Trailfinders Sports Ground on Vallis Way, Ealing.

So another year, another ground to find and hopefully a lot of supporters to come to the matches.
I had a look round a couple of times before Saturday's friendly and although it might not be as glamorous as all other grounds, this has huge potential, both Ealing Trailfinders and London Broncos are aiming towards the big time and working together though different clubs they could help each other especially with the upgrading of the ground.
Have to say I did like Barnet but it became obvious that we were most unwelcome, from Chairman down to Groundsman.
Sure there were teething issues at the friendly and I guess some organisation at the entrance is required but we are at a ground where we are made very welcome and the fact a lot of Ealing Trailfinders supporters stayed on to watch the Broncos was very encouraging to say the least.
More importantly I sense that the supporters are now involved with the club and that is the important point, after all these years of being a team with a lot of spectators, we can now really be called London Broncos Rugby League Club.
There is now a great feel good factor coming through and Andrew Henderson has certainly got everybody going and although top 4 is not going to be easy this year, we certainly have a great chance, especially with the players Hendo has drafted in and a year's Championship experience under their belt.
One more thing watching the Broncos at Ealing reminded me so much of Fulhams years at Chiswick Polytechnic Ground
Looking forward to our first game at Oldham in a weeks time but even more so on Feb 14th at Ealing.
